Quantitative Research

This type of in-depth research can be tailored to your company's' needs and can include socio-demographic status, catchment area, store usage, products purchased and spend as well as opinions and impressions of your business. The data collected from this kind of study is presented in tabular format and can be backed up by a comprehensive report. An initial "Top Line" result can be provided soon after completion of the fieldwork. This can then be supported by a full set of data tables showing specific breaks as defined by the project requirements. This allows a full management report and presentation to be constructed.

CNMS can also provide a FOCUS GROUP DISCUSSION. This type of research stands or falls on the structure of the subject headings, the volume and quality of stimuli that can be used and the interest of the respondents in the particular subject under discussion.

Subject headings therefore set up questions and develop answers that can provide detailed information for management action. A series of group discussions does not provide quantitative answers. However, in addition to its investigative role, its function in the design of a structured quantitative study cannot be overlooked!!
